Worship Ministry at its core is fairly simple.   Add people , tradition and an ever-changing culture to the mix and things get tough pretty quickly. While quality help is available in the form of books and conferences, sometimes our needs exceed the reach of these broad-stroke solutions.

The need for a more relational and customized approach is what fueled local church leader/musician, Steve Young's passion to launch Arts Impact in 1998.   Today, Arts Impact has partnered with dozens of churches and other ministry organizations, helping them formulate practical strategies to navigate the complex issues that face today's Church in the area of worship and the arts.

About Steve Young:

Growing up in the Lutheran Church, Steve always resonated with Martin Luther's statement, "I would like to see all arts in service of He who made them" .   Often disappointed by his own church experience, Steve adopted Luther's ambitious declaration as a mission statement of sorts for his own ministry, leading him to launch Arts Impact in 1998.   This passion has enabled him to partner with churches all over the US, as well as organizations like The Willow Creek Association, Maranatha Music, The Roland Corporation, and Concordia University Irvine.   Steve is Director of Creative Arts at Renaissance Church in Millburn, NJ.   An active keyboard player, arranger and producer, Steve has performed or recorded with various Christian recording artists.   Steve lives in the New York City suburb of Short Hills, New Jersey with his wife Victoria, and their two young boys.
