Getting ready to do our Christmas concerts at Renaissance.  Four nights — completely sold out!!!  It's always a lot of work, but definitely worth it because the musicians I get to make music with are such wonderful people!

I'm headed out to Las Vegas tomorrow to meet with about 30+ arts leaders from around the country.  It never ceases to amaze me how much I get out of just being in the same room as people like this.

I just got back from the NAMM show in Anaheim, California.  If you're not familiar with this trade show, it's where all of the music manufacturers release their new "toys" — I mean "gear".  This year I was asked to be part of a panel that discussed how musical instrument dealers and sound contractors could better serve the church.  The workshop went well, there were lots of cool new toys, but most of all I enjoyed running into old friends and making new ones.  Very fun week!!!
